Terms and Conditions

By placing an order with SQS, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. No Refunds or Returns (General Policy):

All sales are final. Given the unique, handmade nature of items offered on the SQS website, we do not offer refunds or accept returns on any products once they have been shipped. We encourage you to carefully review product descriptions and images prior to placing your order. 

2. Order Cancellations:

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only if the cancellation request is received before the order has been shipped. For cancellations requested more than forty-eight (48) hours after the order was originally placed, a $5.00 restocking fee will be withheld from the refund amount. This fee helps to cover processing and handling costs associated with the order.

3. Handmade Nature and Variations:

Due to the nature of hand-crafted goods, slight variations in color, size, and appearance may occur. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that these variations are inherent to handmade goods and are not considered defects. We strive to accurately represent our products through descriptions and images, but minor differences are to be expected.

4. Product Failure and Corrective Actions:

In the event of an overt failure with a particular product, SQS will facilitate communication between the contributing artisan and the customer. The contributing artisan will be responsible for contacting the customer directly to understand the issue and make arrangements for appropriate corrective actions. The nature of these corrective actions will be determined by the artisan and may include repair, replacement (if feasible and agreed upon), or other resolutions. SQS will not be directly responsible for providing refunds or returns in cases of product failure, as this will be handled directly between the artisan and the customer.

5. Product Information and Descriptions:

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information for all products listed on the SQS website. However, SQS does not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content are entirely accurate, complete, current, or error-free.

6. Shipping:

SQS ships via USPS. Tracking information will be provided for each order through the SQS website. Once this is provided, SQS is no longer responsible for the shipment. If there is any issue receiving a shipment, SQS is happy to provide assistance in locating the order or facilitating compensation through USPS. 

7. Payment:

For website orders, we accept payments via all major credit and debit cards and digital wallets

   • For services and custom orders processed via invoice or pay links, we may also accept

ACH (Bank Transfers).

Payment is due in full at the time of order placement. 

  • For services and customer orders, a deposit may be required with full payment due before shipping. These requirements will be communicated at the time the order is placed. 

All transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD). Prices listed on the SQS website are subject to change without notice. Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added to your order total at checkout based on your shipping address. We utilize secure payment processing methods to protect your financial information. By submitting your order, you authorize us to charge the applicable payment method for the total order amount. If your payment method is declined, your order will not be processed, and you will be notified to provide an alternative payment method. 

8. Intellectual Property:

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and designs, is the intellectual property of SQS and/or its vendors, and may not be used without express written consent.

9. Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
