Shop Local Social

Set-up begins at 8AM. Spaces are assigned upon arrival. 

You will be able to unload your vehicle in the main Market area. After unloading, we have designated parking in an adjacent area. Vehicles must be moved out of the main area by 9:45AM.

Teardown begins at 4PM. You are expected to leave your space clean and free of trash. Early teardown is not permitted, so plan accordingly to stay for the duration of the event. Early teardown sends the wrong message to customers, and hurts other vendors. Vendors who do not comply with this rule will not be able to participate in future Markets with Shop Local Social.

We strive to ensure we do not have an abundance of duplicate vendors so that everyone has the best chance for success. Vendors are only allowed to sell what is listed on their application.  If you have items on display that are not included in your application, you will be asked to remove them. 

If for any reason we decide that the event must be canceled due to weather or any other extreme circumstance, it will be announced on Discord and via email the morning of the event. Fees will not be refunded but FULL CREDIT will be applied to a future event. We do not foresee this happening, but want you to know of the possibility in advance.  

Dress for Utah weather, be it 20° or 120°.  Northern Utah tends to be windy.

We recommend sandbags/ 25lbs weights per canopy leg. Canopy walls/sides are also recommended if you have them. 

Other helpful things to bring:  water, jackets, sunblock, snacks, change, phone chargers.  

Once you are approved for an event, you are in for good. This means that as long as we have space for you, your application will be approved. We encourage all vendors to join our Discord Server for event updates and to engage with our community!
